1. Agreement to these terms

This website is operated by Alabama Pet Transport Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using alabamapettransport.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What this website is

This site provides information about our pet transportation services and a way to get in touch with us. It is an informational and contact tool. It is not a booking system, and nothing on it creates a reservation, a contract of carriage, or an obligation on either side.

3. Quotes and pricing information

Our published rate is $0.50 per mile, with an additional fee for trips that run longer than eight hours. Any prices, example figures or estimates shown on this website are for illustration only.

A binding price exists only once we have given you a specific quote for your specific trip. Actual pricing depends on the route, distance, duration, timing and the particulars of the animal being transported. We may change our published rates at any time; a quote we have already given you will be honoured on the terms we stated when we gave it.

4. Transport services are governed separately

These Terms of Use cover your use of the website. The transport itself — scheduling, payment, cancellation, the condition and paperwork of the animal, and everything else about the trip — is governed by the arrangements we agree with you directly for that transport. Where the two conflict, the arrangements we agree with you for the transport control.

5. Owner responsibilities

When you engage us to transport an animal, you confirm that you are its owner or are authorised to arrange its transport, and you agree to give us accurate and complete information about it — including health, vaccinations, medication, temperament and any history of aggression or anxiety. Withheld or inaccurate information puts the animal, us, and other people at risk, and may mean we are unable to complete the trip.

You are responsible for ensuring that any documentation required for your animal to travel, enter or be received at its destination is in order, and for meeting any applicable state or federal requirements.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use this website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system.
• Interfere with the operation of the site, or introduce malicious code to it.
• Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or contact information from the site.
• Use our name, branding or content to impersonate us or imply an affiliation that does not exist.

7. Intellectual property

The content on this site — text, layout, design, graphics, logo and photographs — belongs to Alabama Pet Transport Services or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use in evaluating our services. Any other reproduction, republication or commercial use requires our written permission.

8. Customer reviews on this site

Reviews shown on this website are the opinions of the customers who wrote them, published as they appeared. They describe those customers’ own experiences and are not a promise or guarantee of any particular outcome for your transport.

9. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free from errors or omissions, or that it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
